- About Me:
- I have been vegetarian since as far back as I can remember, vegan for 3 years, and have been atempting a raw food lifestyle for a couple of months now. It is very difficult, but the day's that I eat 100% raw-I feel-well you know-the glow!!! Well, I feel like I'm on the way to the light at the end of the tunnel. I was introduced to the RAW lifestyle by my role model-my oldest brother-and inspired by my biggest hero-my mother. As you can tell-I'm one big dip of nutty raw "cheese"
I recently graduated with a degree in Merchandise Product Development and am moving to Texas to start working as a Technical Designer. I have always had a passion for creating- creating joy, laughter, and beautiful things-like jewelry and clothing.
I am currently on the journey of self discovery and acceptance, I am ready to SOAK up all the knowledge and wisdom I can-SPROUT into a creative, and strong individual-BLEND with those from all walks of life (ok ok, bad RAW joke, that's enough)

In Mexico we have a career called Medico Homeopata. It is a Allopathic study, same as standard medicine, but with the addition of Homeopathic medicine as well as straight pharmacology. The carrer here is Physician-Mid-wifery-Homeopath. After studying standard medicine and homeopathy, I received a Masters In Oriental Medicine from the USA. and National Certification for Naturopathic Medicine as well. I currently am certified in Mexico as a Quantic Medical Doctor. But you dont have to go through all thast work to practice here if thats what your question is.
Many Allopathic Physicians from all over the world as well as Alternative professionals can work in mexico via a revalidation process with the education board here. Some don't even do that and they work anyway. Its pretty loose though. We don't have all those strict laws you have in the USA. You can pretty much do most things if your ethical. Playa is at the south end of Mexico. In the mexican carribbean. down by belize.

- Hey Becks. I'm so happy to hear you've become enlightened to the awesomeness of green smoothies. Give this one a shot (my current favorite): Apple + cucumber + Kiwi + Parsley. Everything is green and the parsley gives it the freshest taste ever. It's like drinking the sun on a spring afternoon.

- Seems like I haven't checked this thing for weeks. I had an all class exam on Monday and a pharmacology final on Friday (I kicked its butt, then gave it some medication to soothe the pain of having its butt kicked). I was pulling 18 hour days for a week straight and now I'm on spring break with nothing to do. Can't decide whether I should go home or go to Berkeley to check out Gratitude Cafe. my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.
