I rarely go over half an avo, or a small handful of nuts. I've gone over a month with no overts at all, getting all my fat exclusively from fruits and (lots of) vegetables. Felt really great doing that too.

Although most work these days is live sound / recording, not as much studio as I used to. I used to play engineer in New York studios, but the last 10 years or so I'm focusing on running and maintaining computer networks. Still love to play with audio and outboard gear etc. Microphones are my weakness! (I mean I have no ability to stop collecting them...: )

Did you go to a reliable restaurant? Not all restaurants know how to properly handle fish. Most are frozen,thawed & refreeze what wasn't use. Can also be both. Maybe since you haven't had it in a while you body responded in a certain way.
