As a personal trainer and personal chef I get to help a lot of people learn how to improve their lives. In order to do that I learn all I can on a continual basis, about the body, biomechanics, nutrition, self-esteem, and anything else that will help. That desire to learn let me to the raw food diet slowly but surely.
For fun my husband and I learn ballroom dancing and go out dancing as frequently as our schedule allows. Going to raw restaurants in NYC has become a second hobby :) as well
I am a very active person and I love the outdoors.

I'm hoping there is a raw restaurant on Long Island some day. Saving money on the roundtrip train tickets would definitely mean eating out more! Do you have any raw restaurants around you in Atlanta?
Yes, their lasanga is so good. Actually, I have not tried their lasanga but I made my own version following their recipe and it was outstandingly good. I have not tried those desserts but I am sure they are super fabulous. It is just too bad that there is not a pure food and wine in Atlanta. Of course, I would be completely broke if there was one here :-)
Hey,
Yes I agree that Quintessence is much smaller. I like them both in different ways. The food at each one is excellent! Have you had PF & W's fudge brownie ice cream? Or their chocolate almond butter cup? Both are to die for! Seriously!
I love Quintessence and Pure Food and Wine. I am about a 1 hour and 20 minute train ride from NYC so I try to go in at least every month now for a treat at a raw restaurant! When did you go to Quintessence?
Rome was AWESOME, another fantastic HBO series. True Blood is also pretty cool, but I read the books so it's bittersweet for me. Did anyone else catch Carnivale? That was really well done as well.
Me walking between China and Dragon as I get ready to turn them out into a big pasture. They're my buds, they stay real close to me, one on each side, whenever I got out to where they are. It is very sweet! :)
It sounds like you are not eating enough fruit. If you eat more sweet fruit, your desire for candy and other processed foods that are sweet will go away.
