That's how I started and I did 4 half-marathons last year and a couple of 10-milers. And it all came relatively naturally. I didn't even stress. If I felt like running, I'd run. If that's all I wanted to do that day that's all I did and naturally ...

I love quotes.. 'Which road do I take?' she asked. His response was a question: 'Where do you want to go?' 'I don't know,' Alice answered. 'Then,' said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'" Lewis Carroll

Ya my dad is in pretty good shape! He is very sporadic with his working out..sometimes it's non existent. But his job requires lots of physical labor...so he is getting a good workout in while on the job! Funny thing is...my dad drinks like a fish..probably since he was 16 or so... but he never gets sick and is in better shape than most of his friends. He is definitely not vegan...or vegetarian.. but he just purchased a juicer for himself and since I moved in with him his intake of fruit and veggies has gone way up! I'm super proud of him...now only if he would cut back on the booze...!
