- I'm writing a series of books that will take forever to finish so I spend pretty much all of my time writing and researching (and worrying about how the bills are going to be paid!). My spiritual life is entering a new phase and I am trying to clean up my diet and move towards a raw food diet. So I am here to learn.

I distinctly remember feeling the exact way. I had the Nesco dehydrator before, and it stunk (it didn't work well). LOL The Nesco dehydrator is made in a circular shape and it would take doubly long to dehydrate, and food was often very moist/chew...
I think the green is more "leafy" tasting (which I don't mind) but doesn't have the same long-lasting aftertase that the white does. I love the Wisdom of the Ancients green stevia liquid. I've finally made friends with stevia, LOL! I get it from V...

I am having my first meal of the day: a bowl of broccoli with a lemon, tahni, garlic, date sauce. It is good.

Snowy Morning
There was snow last night in the desert
Amid the darkness
It floated down
Resting
On jagged rocks
Along the edges of the dry wash
On burned, blackened branches
Twisting in reverence to the stars.
Footprints imprinted in white
Like black kisses
Caressing the landscape
In patterns.
The truth
Reflecting in moonlight
A poem to the stars
A song to the heavens, to dreams.
The snowy morning twilight
So gentle
So cold,
it burns.
Dried leaves,
on white birch trees
Rattle.
like coiled snakes.
Waiting
Entranced by the soft curves of sheer snowdrifts.
For an instant in time
Icing, sweetening
The sand..
the spines.. the unapologetic severity of the desert.
