I Just Had a Photo Shoot!

I did an Interview about my diet for the 'Sunday Herald' and 'Melbourne Age' and the photographer came round today.
I thought it would just be a few snaps, but it was like a proper photo shoot, over an hour of just taking photos and loads of big lights and a huge backdrop.. It was quite funny, cos the guy was a professional photographer and it was all " just a bit this way" and "A little to the left" and so on. It was all a bit funny and I started to laugh.

So now I have a bit of an idea what p… Continue

Playmobil Folk Enjoy Sapote Glut!

Gigantic Jackfruit!

Yesterday we were fortunate to get given this huge Jackfruit!
Big enough to sit on and plenty big enough for a fruitarian banquet.

I weighed it and it is 18kg, or for the Imperial among us 40lbs!

Jackfruit is Cappi's favourite so he is mighty happy.
Love and peace,
from Anne XX.

Love is All Around!

Today Cappi , my son, and I were out and about in the metropolis of Beerwah; small Hinterland town in South East Queensland.
After walking through the Pineapple fields, finding some great organic fruit at the village fruit shop, and visiting the library; we were passing by the post office, when I pointed out to Cappi a cycle with one of those child carriers on the back.
"Hey Cappi", I said, "there is a child riding along in that".
As we neared the P.O. I saw that it was actually a wee dog and no… Continue

Hi Anne

Hope thatyou are well and that organic stall is going strong. I thought you might like to know about the Fruktifest planned for 2010 in France, or maybe pass it on to other Fruitarians. www.fruitarisme.lautre.net/fruktifest.html

Thank You Anne,
You are a real Beauty. I'll get where I want to be soon, but getting there I'd have to start over and this is a daunting step. During the process of getting my b-u-t in gear, I'm dealing with imported fruit that is just sort of picked a little early at times. You have inspired me.

Hi Anne, Glad to be friends; I'm a little jealous as we have no chocolate sapotes here yet...maybe you can send me some seeds... Life is good in the tropics and I look forward to the day when we have so many varieties of fruit growing here that we have a hard time choosing what to eat. I really appreciate your comments and hope to meet you some day. Did you hear about the planned fruitarian event for next summer? I don't have many details yet, but can fill you in when I know more if you like. namaste, Loren
