Hows washington!?
I picked up these hitch hikers that were from there, a little while ago on a surf trip at raglan.
They shouted me icecream so I thought they were pretty cool :D[<)
next Thursday night I have to go out to dinner to Bertucci's, it's a work thing haha but I definitely do have to go. Is there anything there that I can order? Or do I say I'm just not hungry? ahh help!
Some ideas for raw drinks is raw chocolate milkshakes- raw cacao, nut milk, bananas. You can also drink teas- if you buy the loose teas, I think that is as close to raw as you can get, you will need raw agave for sweetener or some people use yacon syrup- I personally haven't tried it yet, so I don't know how it is. I like Yerba mate tea w/cashew milk (cashews, cinnamon, agave, vanilla- squeeze through nut bag or you can buy a painters cloth at Home depot and refrig.) and agave and cinnamon- it's what helped wean me off of coffee- it's the closest thing in my opinion. Also, I've heard lots about Teechino- but haven't tried it, I've heard it is very yummy though! It's a replacement for coffee. Another beverage would just be water with lots of squeezed lemon and add agave and make lemonade. A juicer is great to have also- you don't have to spend lots of money - I found a kitchen aid one when I first went raw for $50 and it still works great, or I would google used vitamix- I have one and love it.
There are some stores I would recommend- not sure what you are close to but Trader Joe's is great, Costco has lots of raw and organic choices- I just went there and got a membership and they even had Lara bars for $10 per box! Also, I would look into finding a co-op close by- they always have lots of organic and raw- I joined one, but it's a couple of hours away but we do bulk shopping so it's worth it. As far as online, Amazon is great-just type in raw and organic and you'll see how many options they have- it really depends on what you are looking for- like I just bought raw organic seaweed on eBay from Matt Monarch for a great price- what types of things are you looking to purchase?
