Sometimes parents can be stuck in the past and unwilling to consider new points of view, they have after all, been watching ads for milk for the past 20 years and reading about food pyramids, its just stuck thought, known as mental dross. Family c...
If the scoby has a smooth consistency and doesn't look sick, and the brew doesn't look like the yeast is running away with the brew, and the finished kombucha tastes good, then you are probably fine. The reason behind what you have heard about the...
I have six batches going right now. My current batches are a mix of new and old, some with white tea with a short 5 min brew time, some with green tea with a 10 min brew time. Sugars I'm using include regular white sugar and natural cane sugar, I ...

Cooked food has this weird social pressure to it since that is what most people know and expect, that I have learned to say no to. My experience is that people always have questions, what about this and that, protein, etc, its one of those things ...
It was January 2001 (8 yrs ago) and I brought someone into Minneapolis from Chicago who had been trained in Pleiadian Lightwork to do a small seminar. She told us about a raw restaurant in the Chicago area. That was enough to put the bug in my ear...
I've been down that road and I empathize with you. Call it a weakness, pizza is one of those foods that has a special place in peoples hearts, and part of the transition involves experiences like you've had. The last time I had pizza, it wasn't fu...
Well Liz, that's your body rejecting the toxic pizza, your are right when you say you've been poisoned, LoL. What happens is if you eat something like that after being raw for a while your body gets used to the higher vibration in live food, and p...
I've learned that the bacteria/yeast balance is something to pay attention to. Higher temps, black tea that is too strong, and too high of a starting pH are factors that allow the yeasts to take over the ferment and the brew goes bad. I had this h...

I first heard of raw back in 2001, and have done some long stretches of 100%, my biggest weaknesses are pineapple and kale salad

A food log is a great idea! I hope that you can isolate the cause. They didn't hurt or itch or anything like that, but they didn't look right. At first I thought it was skin cancer or something!
I looked up petechiae as Eric recommended in the co...
Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.
Pink Lady Apple,
I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
