you're a racer? that's awesome!

I street raced a lot coming up - there's a pretty big underground for that here in NY. i'm lucky i don't have bad stories about that - knock on wood.

how'd you get into it?

No, I've never been in a go-kart. Ok, wait, maybe I have? Did I ride in one at an amusement park? Now I don't remember. It's all such a fog. Those were my pizza and ice cream days, so it's all rather hazy.

It's in the book! Just kidding, well it is, but my story goes that I was vegetarian at age 12 because my Mom was still cooking meat, I had a gut at age 12! Anyways my Mom taught me how to cook vegetarian meals, in some Asian cultures when you decide to go vegetarian they view it as a Spiritual Awakening and PATH so people are very supportive and my Mom was too. So I learned that I really got into Vegetarian Cooking and was good at it, soon I read every book and recipe there is one by the Hare Krishnas called Higher Taste that really rawcked my world because it had veggie recipes but also all the medical, scientific and spiritual reasons why we should be vegetarian which only solidified my decision besides wanting to be slim, trim and more energetic. Then I became a 5 Star Vegetarian Chef and volunteered at Yoga Centers all around the World it was my way of adding more health and harmony to the world and I was so grateful to be living in USA the best country in the World that I wanted to say thanks by promoting peace, health and harmony. Soon I traveled all around the world and learned many things, recipes, Yoga, spiritual things that were beyond words and been to exotic places everywhere too. But it was about 12 years ago in Paradise Island, the Bahamas that I met my first raw foodists they saw I was cooking it up for 300 people a day at the Yoga Retreat there and they approached me to teach me about RAW FOOD, I was like woa you don't have to cook it? And it tastes amazing and saves everyone's health, the environment and world COOL! A whole new gourmet world opened up to me and I wanted to learn all I could about it, but I also quickly discovered it would become my next healing spiritual path and step in my spiritual journey, what happened next was more and more raw people, stories, books, chefs, experts all spontaneously entered into my life without me trying! It seemed RAW chose me, I finally discovered my calling and destiny in life my whole life I tried every kind of job and everyone else seemed to "know" but I was still searching but so many things happened to me that I KNOW RAW is what I am supposed to do and promote I feel "guided" even my College Girlfriend who I almost married was really into raw and got me MORE into it after I returned from the Bahamas to finish my colllege education, talk about more coincidences and affirmations right? I think somehow I became a RAW Magnet even today I am surrounded by raw people without even trying, and everyday since then I got more and more into it and I learned something new EVERYDAY that RAW saves, solves, reverses and more it is very amazing and there is so much more info and experiences I am actually writing a book about it my sort of autobiography because many people have wondered and asked. But it gets way deeper! I even checked my astrology chart and the stars at my time of birth and planets indicated that I have Culinary Gifts and Skills and that I am supposed to reveal to the entire WORLD something that I find very spiritual, new and different. Also in a past life I was a monk and did not go anywhere but I helped people who came to the temple, so in this life I have to travel and become world famous it says so in my chart! I didn't believe it but looking back it all makes sense and explains why I have traveled to so many places and why there is something guiding me and urging me to do this. For me it is a lot of fun but I feel like I am fulfilling a higher purpose too. I suggest everyone to their Vedic and also Western Astrology, it gives you keen insights on your past, present and future, for me it is like a map and guide. The Vedic explained my culinary gifts and destiny. SO I have been RAWCKING for 12 years and love it, for me it gives me more muscles, I never get sore from workouts I am weigh lifting and excercising to prove you can get muscles on RAW and it works, I have more than when I was cooked, I am more flexible too in my Yoga, more calm, happy, people ask me why I am laughing and so happy all the time! RAW is the best thing for so many reasons...

I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).

My saliva has never commented on how I smell. But my mouth tastes fine. And, in case you were wondering, my various excretions all smell good too!
