RAW % going back up!

With renewed desire, strength and vigour I am growing more in tune again with being raw. Thank Goodness. I start the day with divine green smoothies and getting more recipes, like sweet potato, pineapple and ginger. Gorgeous for winter. I have noticed I look far more attractive (dare I say it, at 44.) Especially when I eat raw. My skin tone improves and I look younger immediately I have eaten /drank my green smoothies. I look about ten years younger than my chronological age when I eat raw. Ther… Continue

Boxing Day

As we call it in England, or the day after Christmas day. So relieved really that Christmas is over with. The kids loved it and Remy wanted to take the tree down last night as he had had all his presents.
I have been just 50% raw for a few weeks now, where previously I had been 90-100 %, but winter came and my body rebelled. I am going to take the percentage of my raw intake up a notch or two for a while. There are lots of reasons while I feel this is right, but I will listen to my own mind and… Continue

Halllooooo! <3

So, I have exciting news! Totally surprising to me, too. Ha! I'm nine weeks pregnant! I was even pregnant during my juice fast, which worried me slightly, but I think it genuinely HELPED! I've been mostly vegan, but not as raw. I have to admit I am SO HUNGRY ALL THE TIME, and the grains and fibers seem to resonate well with me right now. I have had a few smoothies and obviously lots of fruits. I'm going to a nutritionist on Friday to discuss how to get everything we need eating vegan, but I feel pretty confident already. I also take a non-vegan prenatal vitamin and DHA supplement.

Ester's adoption went through! It was beautiful and completely relieving to have her for keepsies. We're ecstatic. Her biological brother came to live with us just a few weeks before that, so we have a full house that's about to get fuller. :)

So how are you? How are your creations? Tell, tell!

I love you muchly!

Hello, lovely!

I'm on the sixth day of my juice fast, and it's surprisingly easy. It's actually a relief in many ways, because I don't have to worry about what I want to eat. I thought it'd be hard cooking for my family, but once I was past the third day, it was a breeze.

How are you doing? Are you still in France? You're so fortunate to have such enriching opportunities! How do you feel? Summer is such an easy time to eat lots of yummy raw fruits and veggies with the abundance available. How is your partner? And your children?

I think of you often, every time I look at my pretty picture! Ester's adoption is going through on July 23rd, and her teenage brother is coming to live with us permanently next week. I couldn't be happier.

Love you muchly!

So, it's likely that I will begin my juice feast on the 7th. I am picking up a juicer in NYC in the 6th. It's an Angel Juicer - very fancy! It's a really good deal and Jeremy and I will be celebrating our anniversary that weekend (it's actually tomorrow - 7 years married, whee!) at one of the raw restaurants in NYC.

How are you doing? What have you been creating? My artistic expression is blooming - literally! My garden is so lovely and I enjoy sitting next to it every morning while I have my smoothie. I love the contrasting sensations of cold, dew-wet feet and sun warmed shoulders. My little strawberry plants are fruiting. I think I'm the MOST excited for my watermelon. Real watermelon, seeds and all, sprouted with ocean water goodness!

Anyways, I had an urge to send you love so:

LOVE!!!!

Memorial Day (this coming Monday) is one year raw for me! I'm doing pretty good with it still, much more so that the SUN is out and everything is happy and in love.

I am going to do a juice feast! People say calling it a juice feast is silly, and maybe it is, but it just sounds much more fun to me. I've been doing more and more smoothies every day to sort of prepare for a more liquid diet. The summer is a great time because I can bask in the sun and pick my gorgeous vegetables from my garden to juice.

I looked at the print you sent me this morning, and it made me smile and think of you. I hope everything is shiny on your end. <3
