In my first year living in NYC I was wonderfully naive and very approachable. But NYC has a way of building one's awareness and yes, hardness as time their teaches. I don't see it as a pure negative aspect though. We have to adapt to the situation...

- Aiyana I love that name! thanks girl for the invite that was truly cool of u ! your story about broken community was great- my mom always use to tell me - you never know who your entertaining - it could of been an angel - even if he looked like he was homeless -- you did the right thing - you probably sowed seed in his life by giving him some revelation on just telling him those few words- :)

my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.
