About Me:

I did a 4-week raw foods cleanse and an Associate Raw Foods Chef training with Mehmet Ak in Chicago, Summer 2007 and loved it. Once I came back to Newark, NJ (home) I bought my dehydrator, vitamix and prepared my own foods. I found it difficult to sustain by myself and New York (or Montclair) was just too much of a shlep on a daily basis.

I just met another Yoga teacher here, Joni, who is raw 4 months and we've started a facebook group - Newark Raw - and our first raw potluck TODAY!

I just discovered this community through an RSS feed suggestion and am thrilled at what's been created here. Fantastic energy, committment and plenty of interaction.

I'm looking forward to connecting.

PS I'm a certified evolutionary coach and holistic health counselor (and lots of other stuff) and have my own loft space in Newark that I run as a wellness studio and art gallery.

How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)

Transition advice, recipe ideas and just the ability to connect with others who are up for health, wellness, vitality and transformation.
