Both water fasting and juice fasting / juice feasting are excellent, and both should be practiced. A juice fast is the best one to start with, drinking about 80% vegetable juice and 20% fruit juices. A water fast is great and takes a little more ...

I agree too. If you want to give you body a restart without sloughing off valuable parts of your intestinal lining...water fasting is the right choice.

i did the master cleanse several years ago for three weeks and went to work... i did enemas in the morning and at night (coffee AM, chamomile or lemon PM). depending on your energy levels and what you need to do (like drive a car or attend meeting...

Fasting is best. A fast is water only. See www.rawfoodexplained.com for the benefits of fasting.

it basically only takes 15 or so minutes for me to do an enema i start out with pouring my filtered water into the enema bag i like to put either bentonite clay or actually i really like putting chlorella powder within the water so it can clean ou...

Hi jasmine, yeah, i did the master cleanse about a year ago for 14 days and yes it did the job, but it's like you say - when I think of the juice feast, I get that intuitive sense (with a lot common sense!!) that's its better for my body!! If you...

I've done the master cleanse for seven days. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and definitely cleansed my system (I don't know how much healing it did, though). I've only done short-term juice feasting (24 hours), but intuitively, tha...

hey t here! sorry i haven't been on here in a while! we're moving to florida and life is crazy. I actually started eating more cooked foods over the winter--mostly cooked quinoa and some soups, but now I am back towards high raw again as I found my energy to be getting really low. I don't exercise tons--probably 4-5 times a week for 30-40 minutes at a time. Right now I am doing a lot of core work, but in the warmer weather i like to run 3 miles or so. Sorry it took so long to respond!!

yeah it's very rural and wild around here, but sometimes too isolated as a result. Nearest town of any significance is about 45 miles away. Not easy to be a hi-raw person around here in the winter! Are you new to raw? I've been playing around with it for a few years now, but lately much more seriously. Not 100%, but I may be close to it this coming summer.....

spelling...shmelling! What part of UK are you in? I'm in the mountains of northern New York. Very cold and snowy here now. I'm looking forward to getting into the garden! Do you get much snow there?

Great page, your so right, the beautiful state of being this life style can bring is an awe in and of itself. Always here for moral support, generating energy as you requested. May you always find and listen to the peace in your soul as you so beautifully mentioned in your quote.

Interesting topic, I see a lot of crossover between raw food and spirituality. Having been raised 1/2 of my life in orthodox Christianity and the other 1/2 just slightly outside of Christian orthodoxy, coming into raw has been a bit of a walk "on ...
