my husband & i have two different compost methods going on in our yard~ a huge pile that we mainly add yard clippings to, and a vertical rectangular plastic aerated box that we put food bits & yard clippings in. i have never 'turned' the pile in the box, and at times it does not smell the greatest. :P just wondering what methods y'all employ and what tips you might have for success using that method!
