Let go of fear and desire and be at home with the present, satisfied with the awesome gift of our presence, and thus liberated from the incessant chatter of the mind.

- Eckhart is my hero. I have many though. I don't know what Eckhart's take on nutrition is though. He once joked he was seen in a line in a coffee place and somebody recognised him and said "You wrote a spiritual book and you drink coffee?"

- Just being a member of this group fills me with peace. When I went into hospital to give birth to my son, the only book I took with me was Eckhart's "Stillness Speaks."
