hey vancouver people im going to vancouver next weekend :) so just wondering whats the best raw food restaurants there/ healthfood stores, and hemp clothing stores,and if anyone wants to show me around that be awesome lol anyways have peace and have the best day ever.

Congrats on making the Best Choice Ever! Being raw vegan alone can be a challenge. I find that hanging out with other raw vegan friends really help. Having like-minded people's support is very important. Joining a rawfood potluck group is a great way to meet people. There is a Van rawfood potluck on meetup.com and also rawbc.org where you can find local resources. Hope this helps and enjoy this beautiful journey!

my friend is in the process of creating an online web site/ weekend market offering prices that's about 20% cheaper than any retail price. Will post that up once the site is up and running.

salade with Kreamy curry dressing (Ani P. recipe)
jicama "fries"
durian and coconut jelly dipped in raw cocoa nibs for dessert

Could anyone possibly suggest a non-'medical' doctors (ie. the kinds that won't drug you) around Vancouver, preferably near UBC?

Hey lookin' for a natural doctor? .. over the past several years more and more people have been calling me doctor joe.
I only use natural things like raw minerals and diet / lifestyle techniques; to quickly beat all kinds of bad things ;)

Hello...I'm really glad I found this group! I'm fairly new to it...just wondering if there are any Vancouver events...potlucks that sort of thing...I'm liking this lifestyle but sometimes find it a little challenging...I live with people who are nowhere near to being raw vegan...I think it would be encouraging to meet like-minded people =)

Natasha, there is a raw potluck that takes place about once a month, it's been growing quite fast and there's tons a good food and people. Look for it at meetup.com.
