Currently I eat about 6 small meals a day (some which are cooked), when I switch to raw foods 100% (4 sep, if anyone wants to start with me let me know :) ), can I eat 2-3 times a day (which is much more convient for when I go to uni) and get enough calories from the 2-3 meals without feeling tired (as it'll probably be mostly fruit+veg juices and salads, and some seeds+nuts)?
I think planning how many meals you are going to eat is a bit unwise. Better to go with when you feel hungry at first. If you graze now, chances are, you will graze when you switch to a raw diet. I do! Its an interesting way to see how often you truly feel hungry. At first, a large juice would keep me going all day-i couldnt understand it or get my head around it! I now find that i eat for pleasure more often than to satisfy hunger. Raw food is more sustaining........so you dont need as much, but perhaps at first you will stick to your usual eating times/habits..
Good luck!
Can you not bring a snack with you like an apple if you get hungry in between meals. As time has gone on I think I need to eat less often as the food I eat seems to keep my blood sugar more stable throughout the day. I find breakfast very important for keeping me going until lunchtime - I love buckwheaties with home made almond mylk but I don't know if there are very student friendly unless you have a dehydrator to bring with you. I tend to listen to my body and if I feel hungry I eat, if not I don't, but if I am out all day I like to know I have something to eat with me as I know I will not be able to find anything appropriate and I do not feel it is good for my body to not eat if I am hungry. I bring out some crackers and some fruit usually.
Careless whispers, have you ever seen the video, and tell me you didnt feel sad, that he lost forever his love for his one night of wickedness with that she wolf??
And they are raw?? I feel like I have seen them at TJ's but for some reason I did not think they were raw. This is exciting. That sounds so good right now.
I was at my friends
tonight and she had a pack and I opened one up with a nutcracker, omg. Is it a nut? Its so meaty and you don't have to cook or boil. I was so happy. I took them with me to my new house and I love them.
Have you ever??
