Give it to me Raw

Hey everyone. I like what Richard was saying about the natural progression into a liquidtarian and breatharian lifestyle. Very interesting. I don't think these choice’s ring true for everyone into raw. I've been raw for about three years now and found it amusing when my husband came home from a business trip to L.A where he dined at Juliano’s restaurant and informed me that I am a liquidtarian! I never thought of it before. It didn't matter. I find that consuming the majority of my food in raw liquid form helps me feel my best. Also, in spite of gentle ribbing by family and friends I do actually consume very little food. The more raw I eat, the less I eat. I feel satiated and clear most of the time. My body is long, lean and strong. I manage to keep a clear head about the aesthetics of eating this way, and so maintain a certain amount of muscle tone to prevent looking "sucked out". We are all Ambassadors of our practices and beliefs after all.

I too, consume liquids as well as a main base of my diet. If it isn't liquids then it's smoothies and puddings.
Most of the solids I consume are fruits, juicy fruits. With a salad every now and then.

I also see how eating and consuming solids (vegans, vegetarians and carnivores) at most, is nothing more than a habit that has bleed into an addiction. Food doesn't give us energy.

What types of juices do you consume?
When you started drinking mostly liquids, did you loose weight? If so how much?
What is your weight now?

With the diet mentioned above, I have been able to maintain a certain weight.
However, I hope to gain more muscle tone. So I do body weight exercises five times a week.

I think I am going down this route myself....! Its nice to know there are others that are doing liquids too.
how long have you been doing this for ? And excuse me for being so blunt but are your bowel movements ok and regular too?
And I know when I stick to my green smoothies i feel so balanced. (:

I have been doing this for about three months now. I started back up after a 9 day fast.
During the summer of 06 I had smoothies and juices for the entire summer. I felt great, however
not as consistently good as I feel now. I know this is due to me being more physically active: body weight
exercises. I have realized that if I'm not active then I don't need that much "food nourishment".

My bowel movements are great and regular. When I do eat solids it's usually fruit, mono meal.
I must say that I'm thankful to state that 95% of the time it's "Meal in, Meal out".

However this brings me to another question. If mostly if not all of what I'm consuming is coming
out as feces. Then why do we continue to consume?
Any thought?

thanks for that info! joseph......i think what is coming out..are toxins...the food acts like a brush ...and sweeps out the rubbish?!

..apart from a cracked tooth chewing on a carob pod.seed..aaargh! ..i hope it wont be too big a job for the dentist? (

I'm sending healing vibes as I write, regarding your tooth.

Toxins...hmmm
I do know that I'm cleansing and alot of toxins are coming out.
However, I find it hard to believe that all of my feces is toxins and
not mostly the food that I just got finish eating.

aw thanks for the healing vibes.. i bet they are full of music too(;yes but it can take years to get rid of your toxins and its only the nutrients you absorb as you know like vits , mins and aminos etc.and then the fibre smibre gets eliminated along with the debris

I don't think this exists for humans yet, unfortunately - but what I think would be the healthiest mattress (and virtually free of dust-mites, even bed-bugs which inflict some homes recently) for humans would be the same as the healthiest for pets...
