Raw Recipes Class in Riverside
Hi there! This looks like a pretty quiet group. Are you all out there somewhere?
I went to a raw foods class tonight in Riverside and thought I'd pass along the news that there's going to be another April 4th that focuses on "Asian fusion". There's a mediterranean some time in May, too, but I don't have the date in front of me. The classes are at The Cooking Store in the Mission Grove shopping center on Alessandro.
The class tonight was pretty basic, but it was fun and there were a LOT of people there! I got a chance to try a kale salad that I've been wanting to taste (raw kale= blah, kale massaged with salt till it's wilted and then mixed with tomato and avocado=OMG!). I wish I would have had time to talk to some of the people afterwards and maybe find some "raw buddies" to help me stay excited and motivated.
Anyway, if anyone's interested, let me know! I'll post more info.
