Hi, I am trying to cut out all of the really unnatural condiments like jelly and ketchup. Does anyone have a raw version of these? And does anyone know if vegenaise is raw?
In Sweden we make something called råröra. Basically this is a fresh compote made of berries, and would be a good substitute for jelly. Just take a bowl of berries (blueberries, raspberries, currants, cherries, etc) and smash and stir them with a fork until you get the consistency you want and serve. If you choose a more sour berry, you may want to add something to sweeten it up a bit. Yum! Also great as a topping to a dessert or thin it out and use it as a lovely summer salad dressing.

Here's a super-simple recipe for making a delicious salad dressing:
start with a spoonful of Vegenaise and simply add some organic olive oil and mix.
THe only book I have is the Complete Book of Raw Food.
Ketchup 1/2 cup dried tomatoes soaked for 2 hours (Sun-dried? who knows)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup raisons
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup onion powder

The opposite is NOT true (lesbian women loving men...), so is there something wrong with men?
