Greetings to all once again, and apologies for having disappeared from activity on GI2MR and this particular forum for quite so long without a word. We've been very busy as of late with FFLG and our work in establishing a new office and overall presence in the New York area. I'm pleased to say that all is going quite well, and am here to offer updates and brand new links to projects in development which relate to all of you within the raw community!
I've made similar posts in various other places and have also started
two new blogs on blogger.com which are related to
Food for Life's New York office and the new raw/live/wild food education and experience project of which I am playing the role of co-creator and ambassador,
Living Food for Life!
I've already made my first post and there will be
MANY to follow! I hope that many of you will please consider following these blogs and offering sincere, insightful feedback. :)
At the moment I'm definitely encouraged to keep momentum flowing as far as blogging and online community in general are concerned, although I'm currently overloaded with work and making serious progress with the new Living Food for Life project. At this time I am diligently working toward getting this raw food program adequately funded in time for us to coordinate a trip to Chicago so that we may do some tabling at
Lollapalooza!
Tabling for
Food for Life Global and the Living Food for Life project at this event means absolutely
everything to me at the moment, especially since it will make my trip to California for another event on the 21st of August more possible (and also because I absolutely
live for giving away amazing food and making people happy).
If anyone reading this post happens to have any useful information relating to how we may be able to easily obtain permission to table at this event (or lives in the Chicagoland area and wants to volunteer to help in any way), please do contact me immediately.
As mentioned just a moment ago, we're also in dire need of funding, volunteers and interns for the New York office. We gladly accept donations from those interested in helping us to establish and build our new office/projects and are now offering subscriptions to a monthly membership program so that we may be able afford to make such trips and plan more for the future.
The starting rate for our membership plan currently stands at $5 per month, but other amounts are also absolutely welcome. In the end it all adds up and helps our charity to fulfill its purpose and live up to
our mission, so any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated.
Donations will be accepted at various related events and establishments in the NYC area, and I shall be posting a PayPal button at the end of this entry for anyone who cares to help, and offer my sincerely heartfelt thanks (and possibly a thank you gift as well) to all of those who do.
Links for donation and subscriptions for membership can be found at the bottom of my latest entry
here.
