Give it to me Raw

Jaya!

Let's Start a Creative Healing Hilltop Sanctuary in E. Bay or N. Bay!

Want to inspire one another? Plant roots and water seeds of your life path and passions? Slow down and go within in quiet nature zone? Play and celebrate creativity?

Jaya, her two cool kitties, and 5-person infrared sauna are missing home (the bay area). I took an almost year break, but can't quite shake the pull of my wonderful community and beautiful weather home.

Would you like to find a beautiful home in the hills somewhere? My favorite spots would be El Cerrito, Richmond Hills, Berkeley Hills, and Oakland Hills. We can get some great deals in El Cerrito and Richmond right up top near open parkland. It would be great to set up a healing room in the house with the sauna near by. Maybe you practice healing arts also? See attached pic of my healing set-up.

My kitchen is always beautiful, clean, and healthy with raw foods prep appliances. I am a mostly raw-foodist and definitely gluten free. I'd love to find someone who is also into healthy eating, and wants to keep the kitchen meat free. (Although kitties eat meat, so we kind of have to deal with that. I keep their utensils, sponge, and storage containers separate) We can make raw crackers together, sour kraut and kimchee, nut milks, sprouts, superfood smoothies, giant medicine salads and more! Sound exciting? I hope so. I also am fine with cooked food, just hoping to find someone who has a passion for raw foods so we can inspire each other. I will be incorporating more cooked food into my diet as winter comes along with the coldness of the season and preparing for international travel also.

I'm looking for someone who wants to make a home. We could get a veggie garden and compost rockin. Also, I'm a kundalini yoga teacher and would love to practice together if you're interested!
The other vision, aside from our place being a cleansing palace is for it to be a healing music zone. I plan to start having regular music nights with local musicians coming together. I have a small home recording studio set-up. Also in the works are regular healing music and sauna nights where we rock out the sound healing room, chant in the sauna, sing to God in song circles, blend up some chocolate love smoothies, and give one another bodywork. What kind of creative ideas do you have for the space?

It is very important to me to be clean in my home. It feels energetically clear and comfortable and also important for when I have clients over. Also, any guests that come would need to really respect the clean vibes and do their share to keep the container. I'm happy to have guests, on a limited impact basis. Please no drainbows. We can share more on this topic.

I travel sometimes for work and also have some travel plans this winter. It would be AWESOME to find someone who could coordinate with me to be here to watch kitties when possible. Sometimes I travel for up to a week for work. Let's support each other. I'd love to share the bounty of what I've put together here and any knowledge I can share from my training, as well as a listening ear, networking and such.

Rent range for me would be 600 - 900 per room.

Thanks for reading. I look forward to making magic together in our Palace!

Jaya, love! What a beautiful message you've posted. This sounds exactly like the type of community I myself am looking to create with other radiant beings...

I was thinking maybe Fairfax because I am applying to herbal school in Sonoma & want to be somewhere between there & the city, but I like the east bay too.

I've been doing a raw food/healing/spiritual/musical/Universal experiment journey across the country since February & am slowly making my way back home, but won't be back until Decemberish...I know it's awhile away, but your post really resonated with me, so if you're still looking around then, please let me know.

Sounds like a good vision. I've been wanting something similar lately, in the same area. Being around musical, conscious, politically and spiritually aware folks working in the healing arts would be really nourishing. (I'm not musical but need to have it around.) The hills are right for a place with great shared space as well as plenty of room for alone time & gardens but not for walking/ bicycling to BART & shops. I sincerely understand your desire for a meat-free kitchen & lately I've been learning to prepare meat for my beloved (to ensure that the quality and ethics are good) -- so sadly I will not be able to co-create this dream with you. It sounds really fabulous!

A food log is a great idea! I hope that you can isolate the cause. They didn't hurt or itch or anything like that, but they didn't look right. At first I thought it was skin cancer or something! I looked up petechiae as Eric recommended in the co...

Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause. I get them too and they come and go.

Pink Lady Apple, I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat! I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
