Give it to me Raw

Hi all - recently upped the ante with my raw food intake, and have been experiencing lots of detox symptoms - primarily emotional! Am interested in hearing others' experience with these kind of symptoms, how long they lasted, how you coped!, any general information from your own time would be awesome! thanks!

Hi Whitney...I am going through the exact same thing.....infact I was driving home thinking about the same questions. I have been going all raw for about two weeks now...and before that I was cleansing......I hav been all raw before for two years....and at the end of the two years I began emotionally detoxing and just could not cope, or understand what was happening to me.
Now I get it....so better out the in right? My symptoms have been spaciness, internal heat, dark cloud like feelings, and lots of tears....but I know I am moving huge amounts of energy, and transforming. I have become less social and more sensiitve, and selective.... but I am sure all of this will pass....I hope sooner then later........The things I am doing that seem to be helping are.....drinking warm water throuhout the day to help th emotions pass through, going to Bikram yoga atleaste 5 times a week. Taking sea salt baths to cleane the energy field and draw out negetive psychic energy...taking an adrenal support for the nervous system.....and breathing whenever I feel overwhelmed.I hope others have more to share, but this is what I have come up with. And don't forget that the earth is also emotionally detoxing right now, and you could be experiencing what I call collective detox. Have you been experincing kundalini movement I really have lateley
Yes, we are all in this together
Thank you for sharing,
Blessings,
Nina

Hi Whitney,

I help people through these transitions professionally. That said, the only suggestions I can offer here are:

1. What's worked for you in the past to deal with emotional issues?
2. Go hang out at Border's for an afternoon. There's plenty of great shelf-help available ;-)

okay -- one other idea (it all really depends on the details) but a general suggestion would also be a good colonic. We store emotions in all cells of our body and getting the old sh*t out, literally, can be emotionally releasing as well.

hope that helps,
Sharon

All this sounds very familiar, this is my 5th raw day. I'm also de-toxing from tea and coffee and sugar and additives and everything that goes along with the SAD, so I don't know how long it will take; I expected some physical symptoms, but the emotional aspect has really surprised me. But the change in the weather from walm & balmy autumn to cold & wet together with the lack of sun here (in the UK) is co-incidental and sure doesn't help.

I don't think our soil has nearly the same trace mineral concentration, so I think unrefined salt can be helpful. The seawater example doesn't fly because, like any substance, what is good in small amounts can be bad in large amounts. BTW- I've ne...

Cinnamon powder is used in Chinese medicine for colds and flus. Use lots. Iodine is also good for killing viruses and preventing sickness. I like Atomidine brand, but nascent is good, too.
