Comment by Kiani on January 16, 2009 at 7:36pm - There is a storm here right now(Hawai'i). The surf is about 20 feet on the North Shore. Not the best conditions. I like it perfect. I am too spoiled.

- North shore is 25-30 foot storm surf. Unridable due to strong currents and sloppy conditions. West side 15-20 foot clean offshore conditions, ridable but still big. I was on the eastside today where it was about headhigh. The sun came out for the first time in at least a week. Slight wind-chill factor. South shore has only ankle slappers

You're suppose to be able to pick the leaf out of the middle - and it comes out realllllllll easy - if it's ripe.
