I was once a big fan of quinoa, and my family still loves it (the cooked version).
Since I have gone raw I have stayed away from it. I then heard it suggested the quinoa can be eaten sprouted. I gave it a try, however the smell of the sprouted quinoa is very strange to me. I am careful to rinse well and keep my sprouts clean but is still smells weird. I tried eating some and afterwards I felt sick. Does anyone have any suggestions or insight to share with me about quinoa?
Quinoa is a very delicate sprout. It will sprout in water after only an hour or two. It will sprout in a sprouting jar if you want to grow them bigger.

I was just about to try sprouting quinoa for the first time myself and wasn't sure how it would turn out.
I have the Hemp Man's sprouting bag and didn't know if any of u use that instead of the jar method.
Steve, it sounds like your using a bag as well. I guess I'll give it a shot.
Do you guys have any recommendations for your favorite sprouting jar or online company to get one from?
I want to sprout my garbonzo beans next, have mostly been doing lentils in the bag which has worked out beautifully so far.
