Thanks RawZi, I've come to terms with many of my own thoughts and emotions on this subject. Decided that I feel that I have been limiting myself with fear of such reoccurence. I also decided that I didn't want those feelings anymore as they do not serve me, nor my current partner. Thanks for the love baby!

The reason I ask is that I am going through this question of "Universal Love & Freedom" Osho talks about "Constraints" in a relationship as "binding chains" i.e. Freedom dies. Whereas, in love... one feels FREE, should feel FREE not bound.

Wondering how u guys manage :) Do tell.

It's a long story but me and BF have split up now. We were not all poly so I didn't really have to deal with anything. From what I could see all the relationships were very different- some for sex, some for love/support and some for more practical reasons. This was all very clear so no one got hurt.

It wasn't a question in theory, but one in example. The example that H.D. pointed out. I was curious to know how the whole story transpired.. how the above scenario got set up... and there remained a sense of CLEAR HONESTY without any drama or HURT.
If H.D. feels like sharing some detail of facts, chronology, feelings. observations then I'd be more than willing to start a thread or ask her to do so. If not, well I'll just wonder... and be damn curious how it all HAPPENED.
I figured H.D. you are POLY because you were SHARING your BF with someone without any issues... OPEN minded..

I don't feel I should discuss it in more detail as it is no longer my situation and mostly relates to other people. So it is not my place to speculate about their reasons/motives etc

I wasnt asking you to speculate on their reasons or motives but share what CLARITY you had in expectations & sharing parameters you had with the BF in concern with the Wife.. Were expectations set early on.. et al? What you did KNOW clearly and agreed to be part of the Poly.. even if only as a single Leaf of the Tree.

Fair enough :) Appreciate your insights anyway.
