I'm pretty new to all this, but my initial impression is that raw foodies are particularly authentic by nature(!), and that fits well with me, to my core. I look forward to meeting you all, and sharing some new experiences!

Thanks, Marianna, Kate. March 2 is actually my birthday, so I may have other commitments this coming Monday, but I sure like the idea of having a picnic in the park for it - so much so that I am hosting one myself on the preceding Saturday, also in Kings Park! Came across the Raw Food Picnickers after I had decided on what I was going to do, so must be a "great minds" thing. :-) There's something very grounding, and 'true', about eating good food in a beautiful natural environment, like that.

BTW, came across the Picnickers via your new mag, Kate! Looking forward to the 2nd edition!
