Hey everyone, if you don't know about ti already, there is a great little cafe in Midland called Club Zing. They also do infrared saunas, vibration machines and some other things. But more to the point, they serve some delish raw food! The lettuce wrap with avo dressing was divine...

Hi Kate, it's on Old Great North Road. Tucked away though. You need to go behind the road and entrance is on back side.

I've just come home from the raw food picnic, which was great - shame a few of you didn't get to come, hope you were more worried about the weather than shy!
We did get rained out, but had enjoyed the sun and food for about 2hrs beforehand. We had a few newbies too, about 9 people in total, but so much food!
Have attached a couple of pictures my mum took (have come back to her house for now) of the food and a couple of folk's Alex should recognise ;)

I was ready to walk out the door when family I haven't seen in 3 years landed on my doorstep!! I did ask them if they wanted to attend a raw food picnic but unfortunately my food tastes don't run in the family! Much love to everyone and the next one isn't that far away is it?

I was unfortunately unable to attend as something came up and I just couldn't get there. So many apologies. I was soooo looking forward to it too! Ah well..next time I will be there for sure :)

Without fruit:
Bell pepper juice (very colorful and festive... red, orange, yellow)
Jicama juice (sweet milky)
Carrot juice with pumpkin pie spice
Cashew nutmilk with pumpkin pie spice
With fruit:
spinach and pineapple
spinach and coconut water
Would soaking them help? I've read that nuts in general has alot of anti-nutrients & soaking is always suggested.
Does anyone make raw recipes for their pets? Do you think it's healthy for dogs to not eat meat?

On my acre of native bush ad trees with my own water supply, log-burning cooktop stove etc ANd close to the beach for fish and shellfish and i knw what i can eat in the bush. So reckon i'll be just fine!
