Errr... have you ever read Wolverine's stories in Marvel comics?
I think Wolverine, hands-down (or claws down as it may be). Even if his claws were in their bone state he'd still kick Maul's ass.
Although this leads me to think - if Maul really is so powerful as a Sith lord, then why didn't he try to manipulate Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan in with the force? Perhaps it was because they were powerful enough to resist his force powers. Therefore, if he could simply pull Wolverine into his saber then game over for Wolverine but I need written confirmation of this C San.
I was reading Wolverine's bio the other day on Marvel universe website and I've never read of a more ruthless, skilled, dangerous character. He's just simply unstoppable.
It's nostalgia and a bit of idolatry, I spent a lot of time in that general area of the world and most of the family I'm in contact with are from that general area so if there is any disconnect with humour and culture I feel it in media :)
