Give it to me Raw

I've been thinking of characters from cartoons, movies, and sci-fi & fantasy literature. Whom do you think was most likely raw?

It's rare to find a picture of Bugs Bunny without a raw carrot in hand.

Popeye is synonomous with spinach (although you wonder if all that oxalic acid ever got to him).

Then there was the live-action "Masters of the Universe" movie. In one scene, Teela was disgusted at the notions that people from Earth consumed meat. Don't know if that makes her raw, but she was clearly vegetarian, at the least.

Were the Hobbits raw? I don't remember. Pretty positive all their food was organic and locally grown.

Anyone got anything else?

according to wikipedia, they eat smurfberries and leaves

"They love to eat smilax leaves, whose berries the smurfs naturally call smurfberries (the smurfberries appear only in the cartoon; in the original comics, the Smurfs only eat the leaves from the smilax)."

ah but alas, there is a chef smurf ..and apparently he isnt even vegan! :O

Chef Smurf is the cook of the village. He knows dozens of recipes and cooks many dishes. Smurfs are mainly vegetarian, so he never uses meat, but does use eggs. He always wears his toque blanche (chef's hat).

I wonder if Smurfberries are the same as Goji berries? Which is more nutritious? I should write to Gabriel Cousens, see what he has to say on the matter.

Doesn't have to be a cartoon. Tarzan definitely counts.

Hobbits aren't raw. They like to cook. They eat meat as well. Plus, they smoke weed!

I seem to remember Snow White baking a pie for the dwarves. I could be imagining this, but I have a mental image of her cutting the crust and little birds helping her.

The elves in LOTR ate lembas, which was a cracker, and I'm pretty sure that they baked it. Alas, there was a shortage of dehydrators in Middle Earth, which is why they sailed into the west - so that they could be raw foodists there, and live forever.

the Elves were probably closer to breatharianism.

I remember Anakin Skywalker making some fruit float in Episode II.

Maybe what really made him turn to the Dark Side was when he ate a sloppy joe?

I don't remember seeing any jedi in the newer Star Wars movies eating cooked food... am I correct in my memory here? Are you joking abt the sloppy joe (although if he did in-fact eat joe... that is fo sho what turned him! And when he cut himself off from his sanga... ;) I did TOTALLY LOVE when Anakin made the fruit float and sliced it in the air to impress is WOWman... that was soooooooo freaking HOT (I mean cool ;) Bliss.
