yeahhh i just started running again, and I really enjoy it! ahahaha, aerobic are pretty awesome as it makes up a lot of my exercise regime.

Today is not as sunny out, but that just opens up an opportunity to work more on my yoga practice and dance to the new beirut album. :-)

I used to do Aerial Silks (have taken a bit of a break but will be getting back into it soon), loved it! Also love dancing, horseback riding, yoga, Core classes...I find that I want to be less rigid on raw. I'm liking my Core classes less and less and really craving more yoga and belly dancing, etc....any kind of movement that feels more free than disciplined is feeling good to me right now : )

Michelle, I can completely relate! I used to love kickboxing more than any other form of exercising, now yoga and going for long hikes are my favorites. I used to be really agressive when I was eating lots of cooked foods. Raw foods definately brings about a gentler more joyous me, and my excercise regime definitely parrallels this.

Me too. Years ago, I would only do power yoga, and I would jog until I dropped. I liked a lean, mean workout. Now I dance and do more playful yoga (kundalini, for example). These are just as "challenging"--I still get muscle tone and a cardio workout, but it's in a more feminine, nurturing, and intuitive format. Mostly it's joyous, and I'm smiling through out rather than grunting (most of the time, that is).

HEY! its getting so much warmer here too and i practically refuse to go inside hahaha jk. but really i see that after it being winter for so long, i'm taking any chance i can get to go ride bikes, run outside, play football, tennis, etc. I do a lot of dancing but I have been doing that inside. Dance is so awesome but there is something so great about the fresh air. i'm so happy summer is near =D

I'm a competitive ballroom dancer. On hiatus right now, as I'm going through a professional change -- I miss it very much. But it is a wildly demanding way to get in & stay in shape. :)

ok. heres an intersting one. it was part of a kundalini kriya, so don't know if it is wise to do separately.

basically you had to lie with all limbs on the ground and rapidly shake all your limbs..not just shake..but have a complete hissy-fit (which is harder then it sounds keeping everything planted)...while doing a rapid breath of fire (a passive in - active out navel breath : through the nose). that was pretty raw. talk about getting out pent up energies...sheesh I think it went for 5 minutes

Rawzilla- I relate completely! I would do a hard core workout until I was exausted. Now I find myself moving throughout the day either through dance, yoga, hiking, and occasionally a structured strength training class.

Cristya- Being outside is awesome! To me, its the next most important thing to movement. Besides getting that good ol' vitamin d, it provides me with an abundance of energy!

Angela- Competitive ballroom dancing sounds so glamorous and fantastic! My best friend is a competitive ballroom dancer, and I love to see her outfits! And, she, too, is in phenominal shape!

Ken- Woah that reminds me of my little sister post being told she couldnt get the decked out sweet sixteen she wanted. Hahaha, but wow that sounds really challenging! I'm being told from many people to try kundalini yoga, for Im always looking to change my yoga practice up.

Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.

I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.

Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
