Hi all, I've just joined but have been reading the discussions with lots of interest... first of all I'm really glad that I found your group, being able to exchange with fellow raw omnivores :)
Accepting Entropy talked about eating lots of eggs in a day. I was wondering, how do you eat them? I have made them into mayonnaise to put over raw salad (just beat with cold pressed olive oil) but this is the extent of my creativity. I don't know if I could just spoon them as they are... what do you do?
I've been doing a combo of egg + raw honey + ghee (or raw butter which I don't have) + lemon juice.
I pour everything into a cup, without breaking the egg, then chug it.
I sorta burned myself out on raw eggs though ... I was eating as many as 10 a day for awhile, and now I don't find them so appealing anymore. Been craving chicken and fish more.
I even think I've been over eating chicken and Fish ... LOL. I was eating 2 raw meat meals a day - usually atleast 8 ounces meat per meal. Nowadays, I seem to get by well, and my body is quite happy with about 2 raw meat meals every 3 days. I've temporarily taken a break from eggs, but I suspect I'll be craving them again soon.
Hope I didn't disappoint you with the egg dish I was eating. If so, blame Rawzi - she first introduced me to it. Also Aajonus Vonderplanitz refers to this as his moisturizing/lubricating formula. Since I'm not dry anymore, I'm not totally pouring these down my throat like I used to. I can give you his measured amounts for the ingredients if you are interested.
I said Rawzi was responsible if you dislike the egg + honey + lemon + raw fat recipe.
Well, that recipe was KEY in healing my internal and external dryness ... so clearly she's highly responsible for that Healing too. That needs to weight heavily on her conscience OK? LOL.
Thanks Rawzi. It seems like I've finally got my dry flaky skin under control. it's just a little dry, but not really flaky ... it's way way way way better than before ... and it seems to be healing at an accelerating pace these days.
If I could prove my gratitude by doing something in the world of flesh and leaves, well I would. And since it is highly conceivable that I can, well we can think of something later if anything ever comes up. You deserve something back.
Love and Light
Ooops forgot:
P.S. Doesn't AV say something about how we should be crystallizing our honey but not fridging it? I thought I saw that somewhere.
Thanks for all your ideas... that shake sounds interesting, I haven't yet had the courage to try the egg as-is ;-) But I will, this week. Just got some lovely organic beef and will have that carpaccio-style with an egg on top, later. Lovely group, this!
We put them (eggs) in smoothies daily. We raise our own eggs though. I would never do that with store bought eggs. I have used them to make salad dressing also. They make a wonderful addition to raw ice cream too.
Dont really recommend one brand over another myself, just like ice cream that has raw eggs in it better than that that doesnt have eggs in it. Makes a much RICHER treat. Our machine (my dads really) is just a standard one cream maker from Walmart (circa 1975).
What does it say about where we're at, when the truth does seem out of character and not the norm to be coming from the floor of one of the halls of 'so called power' that governs over what is best for us, our communities and more and more the ind...

He's still my hero, but I heard the guy was tyrannical and cruel to his family and co-workers. Marlon Brando talked about what a douchebag he was in his book; still though, comic genius.
OK, I guess to me getting rid of anger and envy and fear in ones self before being able to externalize it on a corporate scale just seems common sense as opposed to religious. Is that really religious? Or is it just that he is a Yogi addressing th...
