What I've seen is pretty simple:
Raw & massage = really easy to be present & incredible sessions
Not raw & massage = less incredible sessions (although still good!) :-)
I think as bodyworkers we need to be as clear as possible in order to meet the energy that is presenting with the clients.
Has anyone experienced a difference in massage - either giving or receiving - that they can say related to being raw or not?

I begin my training in October. I cant wait!!
Ive been on again, off again raw over the last year and a half. I definitely imagine that being raw would impact a massage therapists performance. Im about to find out for myself : )

Comment by jodykwik on August 15, 2009 at 10:12pm - oh a tremendous difference in both giving and receiving! in giving it seems to be just a more consistent presence in working with the subtle energies. i'd always felt them and geared sessions around working with them...but my consistency in being present for them has improved through being raw. in receiving, i'm just way more in touch with my own body on every level--so my sensitivity to what's really going on with me is much more in tune.

- Paul -- That is an excellent point and so true!!!! I know with massage and acupuncture when I am raw I literally feeling like I am flying off the table! :-)

Hello folks! I am not a therapist, but a masseur with diploma. I did one semester of studies, which is here in Sweden at this aproved school step one, would I do the second semester I then would get the certification as a massage therapist.
