greetings
i am new to this forum and just saw that there is a group just for london gathering. cool... i was wondering if any of you can give me advice where to sell my ecalibur 9 tray, that i literally just bought 2 months ago from shazzie's company and used 4 times, realising that i am neither into spending a lot of time in the kitchen nor into making a lot of complicated dishes. since the raw movement is simply not that big in london, i was even thinking of hanging up some flyers in places where the menue is at least partly raw (do you happen to know any!!!!) and maybe some health food shops...if you happen to knwo anybody who is interested in buying my dehydrator, i would greatly appreciate if you could let me know, since it is just a waste having it sit there all lonely and literally ready to serve somebody who wants to experiment with it. thank you very much

Hi

I'm 4 months into raw food following an Anthony Robbin's Life Mastery seminar. I Loved it. I'm not 100% yet but very close. Hopefully this group will help me attain my goal.

Hello Mona, and welcome to Raw London. I am hoping that someone will come on here and see that you have a dehydrator for sale and take you up on it. Have you written to the UK Forum as well? The FRESH magazine's website has a section for selling things. Also there is the rawdooduk YAHOO group where I am sure you could make a mention of it. Why not also try a gumtree listing, you never know. I am sure someone will take you up on it.
Take care
Dee

Hi Raw Londoners! I've just taken over as moderator of the Yahoo Raw Food UK forum, which I'm sure some or all of you will be aware of. If not, come over and join for lots of UK-based rawness: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rawfooduk/.

Cheers

Hi there, just wandering what this 'pot luck' thing is...heard about it but want to know more........
Hayley.Dawn Comment by Hayley.Dawn on May 29, 2009 at 10:57am
'Potluck' is an american term describing a gathering where everyone brings a dish along. So at a 'raw potluck' you get to try lots of different types of food and meet other raw people at the same time.

I decided to have a 50/50 raw/cooked meal at Vita last night, having had a desire for warm meals for last couple of weeks. They had a Vegan Paella, it was amazing but it's only the second time I have had grains for a year and I had headache soon a...

It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...

Yes, I believe two out of the four pineapples I've had the last several months have been alright with me, after having let them "ripen" for some days. The one that turned out the best was one I stored in a bag of ripening bananas. I did the same t...
