So, I joined this particular group because I am highly interested in moving to London. I'm currently living in NYC and super connected with the raw scene here. I thought a first good step is to get affiliated with my raw crew over there. I will be visiting June 12th - 24th and feeling out the vibe. I've already met a few of you online here and just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Perhaps I can check out your meetup on the 21st...we shall see how things pan out.

tonight, bonnington cafe near vauxhall. anya from rawfaries.co.uk is the chef. if you don't know bonnington its an awsome little bohemian cafe that lets any chef take over for a night. http://s208303316.websitehome.co.uk/ i'm going to go and check it out. if anyone wants to come. This comment wall is backwards, the oldest ones are at the top which is very confusing! I just replied to the top comment thinking it was recent, but then my comment appeared here at the bottom and I realised that the top comment was from a year ago.

I have been getting emails saying that there are new comments here, but couldn't see them when I clicked the link- then I realised there was a page 2- doh!! Very confused. Mr B, the idea of chocolate cake will definitely motivate me!!! Can't wait to meet you all!

AAAAH! My juicer just broke...Im soooo upset. I was just standing in my kitchen with pink hands (having just chopped up the beetroot i was about to juice) and the bloody thing has died!!! Grrrrr! Well, i have grated the bett, will add some ginger and eat as a salad..BUT-What to do? Im sooo broke and was planning on selling my c.d collection to bu a new juicer anyway, so now its a tad more urgent. Need advice on what to buy. Budget will prob be around £130...Would be good to get one that does leaves etc and maybe even an extra attachment to do nut butters etc.....
Any advice?

My Dad just bought a hand powered one, I guess cheaper than the plug in type but it gives the same sort of quality juice as a twin gear masticating juicer. Maybe look into that... I paid about £200 for mine on ebay, it's a secondhand Twin Health Living Juice Extractor. I thoroughly reccomend getting a good quality one like this secondhand on ebay rather than a new, inferior model. You can replace all the parts later anyway. The juice is much more health giving... shazzies site gives good info on juicers... also UK juicers... sorry I don't have time to find the links... good luck...!
