favorite local product???
what is your favorite local product? what can you get where you live that is rare elsewhere? I think that is one of the fun things about locavorism.
I am trying to learn more about the special things in the northwest but for now I LOVE the cherries. they are definitely seasonal and taste only good in season.

my local coconuts are the best. they are everywhere and all over the place and so cheap. i have my backyard full of trees but of course i dont climb. there are people...
in summer mangoes and jackfruits.
local really beautiful papayas are available almost all through the year. bless them!
different types of guavas and bananas are really plentiful here. its amazing!
and i love some of the local dry shampoo powder --- all herbal --- shikakai, amla, soapnut base. etc.

Hahaha... good question! I suppose we (my friend and I who shared it) felt like that was the theme of the weekend! Everyone was high off life and sharing so much love with everyone... a platonic love that is- very pure! :)
