HOW TO STAY RAW IN PARADISE?

I'm sure not to elicit any sympathy from anyone in the discussion of the trials of keeping raw in my idyllic surroundings...but it isn't as easy as some might think...

It's easier to get fresh young coconut in Canada than in the Caribbean!!! 1 Reply

Hi,
I'm going to SLU sometime soon (probably within a year at least) and wonder if anyone knows about places of raw interest.
Thanks

I was recently in Puerto Rico. There weren't as many fresh nice fruit (or coconuts) as I thought it would be (you could mainly buy them in supermarkets, just like anywhere else in the world). They said there was less fruit now since they became part of the U.S. (more or less).
I never went to the Ann Wigmore institute though. I wish I had been able to go.
Also planned to go to DR but never did. Hopefully there is more fresh fruit...

Yeah there is fresh fruit everywhere here despite the winter season. I'm sorry to hear about the coconuts in PR. There are coconut trees at just about every street corner here. You would have your lions share for sure.

Sounds nice.
A shame I missed going there, but hopefully another year.

Hey Nicolas, A short (water) fast will certainly allow your body to heal itself fastest, and I would say is far better than treating the symptom, which may make you feel better, but will almost always interfere with proper healing. Good luck! Na...

P.S. I have a hard time sleeping without some nightcap food too. I was addicted to bananas and almond butter before bed, but I'm trying to phase it out by freezing bananas in the morning and then making raw ice cream at night.
