Give it to me Raw

Hello there, I'm thinking of ordering some kelp noodles in bulk from the states, is anyone interested in chipping in? A packet which contains 2.5 servings works out half price of UK prices including the shipment. They come in cases of 12@$33 each with a $3 discount if you order 2 or more. Each packet works out at just over £3.

Kelp noodles are very fine, just like soba buckwheat noodles and they only have to be soaked and marinated to eat. They are raw.

I'd love to join in please Anabrese. I had these at Hippocrates in Florida and Gail brought some to the most recent Edinburgh raw potluck (see www.meetup.com - Edinburgh Raw Food potluck group) and I'm hooked on them. they are delicious and take flavours very well. I assume they need refridgeration so how would it work? could you bring them to a potluck in Edinburgh or Glasgow and we could divvy them out there? Warm wishes, Judy ( www.rawinscotland.com )

They come dehydrated I believe and then you soak them. I haven't tried them but I think they will be good and you've just confirmed that they are! I can either post them out to you or give them out at a potluck. How many would you be interested in? http://www.kelpnoodles.com/products_seatangle_noodles.html

How many packets would you like?

How much is shipping Sue?

I guess it depends on how much I order but I worked out that buying one case with 12 packets worked out at around £3 per packet including the shipping. If anyone is interested it's best to give me an idea of how many packets they would like and then I can calculate the prices properly to see if it's a good discount or not.

Right then, if everyone lets me know how many packets they're interested in please? I'll probably be ordering them on Thursday.

Sue, I've just had a reply from Jayne at Sea Tangle Noodle Company about a wholesale querie I emailed her on last week. From what I work out the smallest quantity wholesale works out at around £4.30 each. I have emailed her back to see if it works out cheaper for larger quantities???

don't know if this is any help, but have you ever tried Sea Spaghetti? it's seaweed, but looks like tagliatelle, and tastes brilliant. You can get it from Funky Raw in the UK.

Thanks Lisa, yes I use sea spaghetti but I would also like the kelp noodle doos!

I love apples. I've been getting some really good heirloom varieties from a local grower like winesap. New England is apple land :) .
