Hello to all of those who have joined 'Raw Scotland' that I have yet to meet. I met up with ; Emma, Cat, Susan, Dave and Susan in Glasgow on Saturday 28th June at the Raw food 'indoor' picnic! which went really well and fantastic food was had by all, including a slice of cake each from The Red Sugar Cafe of Edinburgh which was divine !!! Looking forward to meeting more of you another day.

Hi to those in Glasgow! I am in the process of relocating to Glasgow from the US and wondered if any raw vegans would be willing to meet up once I am settled? I hope to by mid-August and also to make the Raw Food class on the 24th. If anyone is willing to introduce themselves drop me an email or comment. I would enjoy having fellow raw foodists in the area! :-)

P.S. Also, if anyone knows of any ethically sound organisations in Glasgow that might be hiring please let me know as well. I will be starting anew both professionally and personally so any advice is appreciated! Thanks everyone!! :-)x

Hey everyone,
I am looking for some of you who are not businesses but are simply individuals who have found a great positive transformation through the RAW diet.
I am looking for several of you with interesting stories worth reading about (i'm sure this is everyone really)
What I would like to do is write an article about you for the UK RAW FOOD NETWORK :) This would involve a bio of yourself, some pictures and an interesting story from your journey... - remember less is more!
Also if you were up for it, I would like over the next few months to interview some of you on RAWDIO our UK RAW FOOD NETWORK Radio...
Let me know your thoughts...
If you write me a message I'll get back to you..

All the best,

James :)

I am coming up to Aberdeen in the next few days to visit friends. I may cross over and visit family in Ayr on the way back, if I have time (I was saving that for end of July really)

Anyone know of anything I should look out for around Aberdeenshire.......even if it's just a good shop or a venue...........it doesn't have to be raw, just somewhere with signs of enlightenment happening!

Thanks

i think there's a great juice shop - i've never been but saw something about it - hatstand nelly it's called - it's also a hairdresser - bizarre but true! That's aberdeen centre tho, the shire is probably a completely different kettle of fish :) x

ReAwakening

Good Morning! I just thought I would post to say hello to everyone, as I am coming back after a long haul of taking care of others who were in very bad straights, which in turn put me in very bad straights too.  I am back to being me now, and pursing the life I have wanted and missed for so long.  I am growing my holistics and massage practice in Coppell, TX, healing myself, and thriving! It looks like many of the folks I knew when I first truly embraced raw veganism are not around.  I was…See More

If you can do headstand, it is easier to do the Lotus position there then sitting. 62 year old Narayani explains why and demonstrates how to do Urdhva Padmasana, Headstand in Lotus, also called inverted Lotus Position. It is a more advance Hatha Yoga Asana. You should know the basics of Yoga before trying. Even if you can't try, it is beautiful to watch. Recording in Yoga Vidya Ashram Meinberg. In the background you can see a mural of the Kundalini Shakti going through the 7 Chakras.
