Anyone into Ultimate Frisbee or Disc Golf?
Although it's not totally ideal(b/c they play on a dirt field!!) central park has ultimate frisbee pick up games every Tuesday, Thursday and I believe Saturday. I had a blast last summer playing after work....I can't wait for the weather to get nice again.
Has anyone ever played disc golf? Kinda like ball golf...but instead of trying to hit a ball into a little cup...you try to throw a disc into a basket. 18 hole courses in beautiful settings. Makes for a great day out. There are a couple courses accessible by Metro North from NYC....

I love playing some frisbee. The NYC raw meetup group has picnics all the time in Central Park during the summer. That's actually where I first met a lot of the people on this site. And we play a lot of frisbee. I'm definitely down for any frisbee playing. I'm not the greatest at it, like those dudes who can catch shit between the legs, but I love playing it and I can do it for hours.
Disc golf sounds cool too. Never even heard of it. I'd love to see how it's played.

also, a dr. friend told me that some of the waxy stuff can drip into your ear and do permanent damage. it does feel great, but i don't do it any longer. i've actually fallen asleep while having it done. =/

What are they used for? I've heard people people using them in smoothies.
