Hi I am taking my 17 year old son to costa rica in feb 2009 and looking to show him a good time and encourage him to eat healthier. I have contacted a few places, eric rivkin, and Cascada Verde Eco Lodge but was wondering if anyone knew of any local residents renting out rooms or any places teaching raw food prep.
or at least offering vegan food in a area which would be interesting for a 17 year old. Thanks

After the third or fourth day I seem to function better then when I am eating heavy meals. My last fast I was walking eveyday. I just feel great when I am fasting.
40 days????? Like, how do you function? I can't even imagine that.

I have done a 40 day water fast before. So I guess for some people it miight be dangerous but it works for me. I do better on water then juice fasting.
