I live far away in Hawaii where there are about 2 million residents in the middle of the Pacific who generally have no clue what raw vegans are and do and could care less of their health and personal development. I have spent 6 months now designing my business from the ground up.
The shipping back and forth when selling products will cost extra money and people will likely find other sources for similar cacao/goji berries etc.
The target audience is the continental US and Alaska(which may not provide any business at all).
I realized that I needed a product line that was carrying Hawaiian produce/products that is hard to get anywhere else.
After much difficulty with the USDA, I was allowed to send fresh Coconuts. I am now sending Coconut Sprouts and dried exotic fruit all across the US. I may be the only person in the world shipping live Coconut Sprouts without any treatments by heat, chemicals or irradiation.
I am glad the first hurdle is finally past, but I realize how much I want to expand my product line and get the right equipment to manufacture some new products the way they should be. One step at a time, I suppose. At least I know what I need to do next. Thank you all for the support I received along the way.
