Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know about my incredibly pure raw organic preservative-free skincare line (that I handcraft myself)! After reading previous posts it seems like this would be the perfect place to share what I create. I offer Healing Body Scrubs, Beauty, Body and Belly Silks, Clay Masques & Organic Edibles - and more - I am continually creating and adding to my site: www.OrganicHealing.net.

Anybody know of any natural cleansers and toners? I use coconut oil as a moisturizer.....it works really well for me.
I also use a slice of limon for exfoliating.

Nicole....best (natural) cleansers I have come across are Raw Gaia's www.rawgaia.com organic soap which I use all over with an exfoliating cloth.
All her products are amazing actually!
Her company is Brighton based but I don't know the lovely lady so completely unbiast advice here.

And another great cleanser is pure oil.
Choose your favorite organic cold pressed oil, I like almond for this.
Apply small amount over dry face with clean hands and massage in.
Then take off with a couple of (organic;) cotton wool pads which you soak in warm water and then squeeze, so they are wet put not soaking.
After splash with some cold water....Your face that is...:)

I need help with under eye puffs! I seem to be somewhat inflamed on a high raw fruit diet ( my usual breakfast and lunch).. when I do more greens, my under eyes seem much less puffy. I feel so GOOD when I eat all my fruit though... and seems like I read a long time ago in an ayuervedic book that under eye puffs were due to a sugar over load... anyone have any wisdom to shed? I need HELP!!!

sheri:
when I eat too much fruit I wake up with puffy undereyes too. I take an icecube and rub all over my face after washing my face in the morning, this helps so much with puffiness and makes my face GLOW

NuNu, what sort of soap do you use? My skin tends to be dry anyway, so I stopped using soap of any sort on my body (except I do use Dr. Brommer's to shave under my arms) about 3 years ago. Soap strips your body of its natural oils and protective lipid barrier, which is exactly the opposite of what you want. :D

So my recommendation would be to stop using soap on your body, and if you do use soap for your underarms or wherever, go with something totally natural and filled with good oils, like Dr. Brommers. Coconut oil is a good, thicker moisturizer than flax oil. Jojoba oil is also wonderful because it mirrors our own sebum. Keep using the dry brush, and make sure to take shorter showers in warm (not hot) water.

Internally, try to eat more greens and avocados for your good fats. They'll help keep your skin healthy and moist.

Hope that helps, NuNu!
