Wussup! Im fairly new to the vegan diet and am struggling to stay on track. The headaches kill me and bothers me at work. Otherwise im amped! Keen to persevere cos i know that this is the correct way to live. Dr.D Graham convinced me. Ill be posting my progress to please keep in touch and help me with any suggestions.

Anyone every feel "Sugared-Out" from eating so much fruit? I'm not the biggest fruit person in the world, My biggest challenge will be to find good complex carbs. My sister has advised me to sprout or dehydrate grains... Any good recipes or suggestions?

What about a raw grawnola with sprouted buckwheat? Buckwheat is really easy to sprout and not a particularly strong flavor...

Hi! I am relatively new to raw and this site. I've been doing strength training and cardio for a long time (primarily on a low carb high protein diet). Has anyone had any issues with lack of protein in the diet? Does it effect the work out in any way? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

today i rollerbladed 2x around the prospect park loop (5K or about 3 miles) on six bananas and a smart water.

I used to compete at Judo nationally in the UK, on and off for over 25 years - 3 of which were on a raw food diet. support training for the sport weight training several times a week and endurance workouts. I ate a lot of avocados, nuts, bananas and a wide variety of other fruit which gave more than enough energy to do all of the above. I follow a 100% raw vegan diet of which 95% is fruit. I no longer compete, but work out and weight train regularly, hike in mountains every weekend and have enough energyto sit here typing this!!

Hey guys..had an awesome 55km hills ride yesterday,before the weather turned real bad.strong north winds buffering all the way,still managed a 25km average..av heartrate 164 max hr 185....9% inclines up hill...not as steep as normal,but longer inclines.Getting really strong now,recovery is getting quicker,muscle soreness is minimal next day.
today weather is bad,blowing a gale and pouring raining,so 1 hour pilates and whole body vibrational machine,workout...will see if weather clears will run with dogs later 8-9kms up and down the hills :)

weather is really bad,like mid winter again,howling winds and pouring with cold rain brrr (yiuck)....
yesterday 1 hour pilates and resistance training on the WBV machine(galileo machine),,,,trained out hard,it was awesome....will stretch it out today,with trampolining and more pilates and resistance training on the galileo again,and if its not pouring hard with rain all day,will run with the dogs outside..peace :)

Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause. I get them too and they come and go.

Pink Lady Apple, I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat! I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
