I just got Brendan Brazier's book Thrive and I'm planning on trying the program for three weeks! I'm training for a marathon in November and an Olympic distance triathlon in September. Anyone have any suggestions, comments, etc.? I got the title off of this blog- thanks! I just made a few of the sports drinks from the book and the direct fuel bites- so far everything tastes good and I'm excited to get going!
I would recommend Dr Douglas Graham 80/10/10. I train a ton also and caloric intake is the hardest I have many days where I eat 25+ bananas a day (2500 calories). I blend most all meals with water it is just more efficient for me. Hope that helps.
That sounds like fun.. There is a thing called double dutch where two girls hold two ropes and you have to jump them both at the same time.. maybe you could find a couple of girls to try this with you. It's pretty impressive when you see it..
