Give it to me Raw

Hello. Does anyone have any suggestions for knees that make noise? They don't hurt, but the make a clicky sound when I go up the stairs. I live in Korea which unfortunately doesn't have a holistic medical system that I'm aware of. There is acupuncture, so I'm going to start going to that. My boy friend suggested glucosamine. From what I can understand on the package it's made from shells. I wonder if our bodies can process that to actually use it.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Kristi,

I am a reflexologist, and I know the area on the foot that you can work on for your creaky knee. I myself have had a noisy knee that pops at times, and once I give myself reflexology, the problem ceases.

Get some lotion on your hands and really warm up your feet with a good massage before you begin. Then, look at the outer edges of your feet. There is a bump in the middle that is hard. Take your thumb and slowly work your way around those bumps. You may find crunchy thingies being popped as you massage. Give some good pressure. Then, work your way down along the edge with your thumb, until you reach the very bottom outer edge of your foot. This is mainly where the knee is located, but I have found that the little knobby bumpy thingy is necessary to work on as well. Once you get to the hard flat area at the bottom outer edge, work your way with your thumb in a circle. You may feel pain here, but it will go away the more you massage it.

The little crunchy things are calcium deposits, and so when you massage them, they get released into your bloodstream. You will need to drink a lot of water to flush them out.

Also, massage your actual knees as well, around the edges, with lotion.

If this is confusing, you can also just make a reflexology appointment.

Emotionally, the knees have to do with being "flexible" in your life.

Hope this helps!

Love n Light,
Tawni

Hi El-bo, You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
