Give it to me Raw

Hi all. Breakfasts - content and timings. Can I ask what works for you guys?
Because I've been running more recently, I feel I need a good breakfast that sets me up for that and the rest of the day. I have been trying different ones for while - a week or two at a time - none seem to particularly satisfy.
My own situation is - I'm usually up about 5:30am and out about 6:30-7, to start work 8-8:30. I run at around 12.
I don't feel hungry until about 9, but often eat 1st thing as I feel I should have something before leaving the house. Fruit leaves me bloated then, smoothies leave me hungry later. Salads and vegetables have been better, but are not hugely appetising first thing. I can't really take time out once I'm at work to eat, unless it's something 'at the desk' - and don't want to eat a couple of hours before running anyway. And having nothing has left me hungry and lacking energy.
I often feel like I'm still digesting, first thing in the morning.
Has anyone got any tips of things to try, or has been through something similar?

Can I ask what type of fruit and smoothies you've been having? Exact details.. ?

:-) Fruit ... tends to be bananas (alone), or pears/apples. Smoothies ... spinach + bananas + dates + soya milk or water ... quantaties may differ , i.e. extra banana for thickness, more water if taking to work ... and sometimes added spirulina [powder].
I like this combo, and it generally seems to work for me, though not in the a.m.

Hemp smoothies are very filling. They also contain fats which will tide you over for a while and stop you getting hungry as quickly as with just fruit. WHen I have a large henp smoothie for breakfast, a banana is all I need for lunch because Im so full.

Is that general smoothies with hemp seeds added, or specificaly hemp smoothies? Do you have any recipes - I'd love to give those a try.

I agree - once I added Hemp and coconut milk - i was full for ~ 3 hrs after the smoothie.

I don't think this exists for humans yet, unfortunately - but what I think would be the healthiest mattress (and virtually free of dust-mites, even bed-bugs which inflict some homes recently) for humans would be the same as the healthiest for pets...
