Ok, it's nearly a month now on 1.5, something I do just as a general blood cleanser at the end of summer.
It's really been fine, it was a challenge initially to cut back on an almost 8/1/1 style of eating throughout the summer. Now, I'm just sticking with the low gi ones like berries. Did have some plums as they were in season and are good liver cleansers (from the tree). Apart from that it's all pretty much been low gi. Lots of salads with dressings and soups and smoothies, some juices. It's good to come off snacking on dates and bananas for a while as I noticed my blood sugar was a bit erratic eating these foods.
