Hi I'm new to raw in NZ,would love to have contact with any others in NZ who are willing to share their knowledge and know how, for great meals and actually just some basics of combining. Look forward to hearing from you.

Kia Ora...
Nice to see the raw foodies in Aotearoa. Please check out our film project on the subject. We are currently in production and seeking people in NZ to be interviewed.

Kia Ora everyone :) I am not from or living in NZ but I have been there and my boyfriend is from NZ. Well, I loved the fruits and veggies down there!!! So sweet and flavourful as I have never tasted before! Yeah, I miss it :/ I know a lady close to Auckland, let's say outside about 20 Minutes drive. And she owns an organic farm with animals she takes care as her own kids. She is a vegan and eats mainly raw. I forgot her name...and she doesn't have email. Anyways, I wish you guys all the best and keep it raw vegan :) Cheers and lots of Aroha! :))

Hi there raw NZers, just wondering if there are any raw fooders out there practicing Bikram yoga in Wellington? Would be interested to hear about your experiences,
Amanda

Hi. I've been raw about 18 months, and moved to Waiheke a few months ago from NYC. Been searching for the right yoga practice here for a while.

It's not Bikram, but have taken a few hot classes at Hot Yoga in Wellington. They were excellent. But it is a hot power vinyasa, which is quite different from Bikram. I much much prefer it, but that's just me personally. But you will get the same detox from the heat as in Bikram.

I have taken at east west bikram here in Auckland. Didn't care for it at all, but it had nothing to do with the studio. The space itself was lovely and very clean and well run, I just didn't care for the military-like instructor and mainly for the rigidness of that practice. But if you are a great bikram fan, it would be worth a go.

Good luck.

Hi abp, that's interesting to know, the military-like instruction is obvioulsy something common to all Bikram classes (?), I didn't realise that as I haven't tried anywhere else.

I was surprised at that though and felt like I was in yoga boot camp, but I was happy to just take it as part of the experience. I'll have a look for Hot Yoga here and try them too to see what a different approach is like.

How are you liking Waiheke? I was going to go there last weekend when I was up in Auckland but didn't make it. I've never been there but have always wanted to.
Amanda

Finn, will it fade over time like most white & pastel color inks? Group tattoo, that's awesome. I like the camaraderie when someone with a misfit tattoo points to mine.

Ajonus seems to phoney to me. He gives like 5 different reasons on why he choose to eat the way he does. Although he does have some good insight on certain subjects. He comes off as to much of a con IMO.
