I have such problems with fruit. I do really like fruit, but I have problems with high glycemic index foods, and I usually just don't crave fruit except in summer. I have to force myself to want much fruit. I'm all for the non-sweet/semi-sweet fruit, but those are not very available at this time where I am. I'm a big nut/seed lover and I usually eat my fruit with nuts or seeds to cut back on the blood sugar spike I usually get, it's hard for me to not do this, to just eat fruit. I like to eat my food whole, usually my breakfasts are always this way, but blending fruit with nuts into smoothies is just a habit of mine I've had so long. Any suggestions? I know I am just transitioning, but I would like to see myself getting beyond this obstacle. Today I've had an orange and some pecans and water and shivambu. Then I had a cooked veggie soup.
